Before we landed
SIM UK, as it was then known, was struggling with poor brand recognition and an aging donor and volunteer base. Their organisational structures and staff team were struggling to meaningfully engage with a younger and increasingly digital-savvy world.
The challenge we were set
To carry out a market positioning / competitor analysis piece. To help SIM UK work through the pros and cons of a renaming, rebranding exercise designed to increase recognition and engagement levels amongst UK audiences. To audit skills, develop a new brand prism, message tree and digital strategy and oversee their adoption by the team.
The difference we made
Following stakeholder research and positioning analysis, IE renamed, rebranded and repositioned SIM as Serving in Mission. We developed a new multi-channel digital strategy focused on exposing stories of transformation with on and offline calls to action around “Go,” “Pray,” and “Give”.
We created a new visual identity, messaging and tone of voice, designed and built a responsive Drupal CMS website, trained staff and delivered a suite of on and offline templates for ongoing fundraising, volunteer recruitment and comms.
The new name, identity and website has received excellent stakeholder feedback.
