Update - IE’s 20th Give Campaign

With marathons and charity work, IE’s 20th anniversary ‘Give Campaign’ has been a massive success so far. With even more planned for the year, there’s still time for you to take part and support our team’s work with charity.

In honour of our 20th anniversary, IE’s Management challenged everyone to do their part and give back to charities and our community. IE’s Directors have led the way in our Give Campaign – Managing Director Ollie Leggett and Digital Services Director Oliver Westmancott, have both been devoting portions of their time supporting charities that mean the most to them.

Ollie spends time in his role as a trustee of Reach the People Charity, a people-first organisation that works alongside those most in need in our community to maximise independence, positivity and participation. They cover issues from personal health and wellbeing to homelessness, registered care and community based tenancy services to domestic abuse.

Additionally, Ollie takes on The Edinburgh Marathon this year – his first marathon – in aid of IE’s Give Campaign. The team has sponsored Ollie to the tune of £500 and he’s presently raised over £1,200 to support the charity. If you would like to help support his fundraising efforts for Reach, it’s not too late!

IE’s Digital Services Director, Oliver Westmancott, is dedicating 10% of his time to a charity close to his heart in Africa. Oliver said of his passion, “Those who know me well will know how I've been growing a deep interest in Africa for several years. I've repeatedly travelled out to visit and serve communities in Zambia and South Africa with the charity Hands at Work”.

With IE’s full support, Oliver will devote every other Friday this year to serving Hands at Work. His hard work and dedication are helping the charity grow and establish its UK office to support even more orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. IE’s fundraising efforts will continue throughout the year, so please keep updated with us on Twitter
