Love Your Clothes shortlisted for prestigious CIWM award
We’re thrilled to see Love Your Clothes shortlisted for “Most Effective Communications Campaign” at the CIWM Sustainability and Resource Awards this week.
The fantastic folks at The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) have created a thought-provoking campaign, now paired with the stunning upcycled new brand, complete with shareable videos and infographics courtesy of IE. Their efforts have been rewarded as the campaign is now up for an award!
IE was fortunate enough to win the task of rebranding WRAP’s consumer-facing clothing and textiles campaign, Love Your Clothes. Our innovative design team constructed a captivating new identity that appeals to a variety of audiences, from fashionistas to mums. The brand guidelines are simple and flexible enough to allow partner brands to easily apply them.
Love Your Clothes certainly counts their upcycled brand a success as they’ve enjoyed increased traffic to their website – visits soaring from 1,500 to 28,500 per month since relaunch. The brand’s evolution has also increased the credibility of the charity’s campaign amongst key partners. This has resulted in fresh marketing reach and commercial support opportunities from stakeholders including John Lewis, Tesco, Oxfam and Age Cymru.
IE has also fashioned a collection of shareable content, central to Love Your Clothes’ campaign, including weekly infographics and over 50 short instructional videos, which have garnered over 350,000 views in their first five months alone. Subsequent campaigns have included the Ariel-sponsored ‘Care Label Quiz’, which featured on the television show Loose Women, as well as assets for the #lostsocks campaign.
It all combines with WRAP’S amazing content and planning to present an engaging campaign. Testimonials and engagement with both consumers and stakeholders have skyrocketed since relaunch.
