20 Years and 20 Questions…
In our 20th year, there aren’t many challenges that our talented team of twenty-six award-winning consultants, designers, developers, marketeers and project managers haven’t solved. But no two clients are the same and each challenge is always unique.
With that in mind, I’d ask you to humour us, if you will, and accept our challenge below – 20 questions for 20 years.
A high ‘Yes’ count almost certainly means you’re on the right course. If you’re in the middle range, we’re confident we can help you to refine your process to take you ‘that extra mile’. Single digits means there’s almost certainly a problem emerging, and we’d love to meet with you to see if we can help. Finally, if you’ve scored below five, then we’d implore you to stop reading this blog, stop everything you’re doing, and simply pick up the phone:
- Has your brand/visual identity changed in the last three years?
- Has your brand ever been ‘audited’ by anybody outside of your organisation?
- Have you ever asked your audience for feedback about your brand?
- Do you believe that your brand/visual identity looks every bit as good as you are?
- If money were no object, would you make any significant changes to your brand/visual identity?
- Do you believe that your brand/visual identity appeals to your entire target audience?
- Is every piece of collateral that bears your name consistently strong?
- Are any of your design requirements fulfilled by external agencies?
- Are you confident that your brand is as strong/stronger than your immediate competitors?
- Is your marketing effort as strong as it was pre-recession?
- Has your website been re-built / refreshed in the last three years?
- Does your website look as good, if not better, on mobile and tablet devices as it does on desktop computers?
- Are you able to update your own website?
- If you have a Content Management System (CMS), is it quick and easy to administer?
- Has your website’s navigation and layout been at the forefront of your thinking?
- Have you ever asked your users for feedback about your website?
- Does your website rank as highly as you’d like on Google?
- Do you have healthy traffic to your site, and do you receive detailed analytics about who is visiting, where they’re from and their user journey?
- Are you confident that your website is as strong/stronger than your immediate competitors?
- Do you believe that your audience can always find the information they need on your website?
